Your attire matters when singing in a karaoke song competition. Dress to fit the type of song you will sing. If singing a Sinatra song, wear a tuxedo. If singing a country/western song, wear a cowboy hat, jeans and boots.

Put some feeling into your song.

Don’t be Afraid to Look

It’s simply reading the words on a screen while singing along. Karaoke song competitions are no different, except you will not read the words continually. Glance at the screen occasionally to be sure you’re getting the song right, but try not to stare at the screen during the entire song.
