Karaoke Singing Contest Etiquette

Think back to your first karaoke song competition. You were probably very nervous.

Remember to show compassion toward new singers, and even offer advice when given the opportunity. Be patient, and don’t expect them to know all the rules.

Don’t be Afraid to Look

It’s simply reading the words on a screen while singing along. Karaoke song competitions are no different, except you will not read the words continually. Glance at the screen occasionally to be sure you’re getting the song right, but try not to stare at the screen during the entire song.
